ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Corbières stream winds through a lush green oasis, where the rich riverside vegetation shelters a unique ecosystem and provides a haven for many animal species, including the discreet European Roller with its brilliant blue plumage. Over the centuries, local residents made use of this valuable resource by building a washhouse, a 15th-century watermill and a 145-metre retention basin along its banks. These heritage features have been gradually restored by a local heritage conservation association and blend harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.
