SLiterally meaning "iron path", a Via Ferrata is a route that lies halfway between hiking and rock climbing This unique activity will provide you with an unforgettable adrenaline-filled experience while allowing you to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Suspension bridges, monkey bridges, zip lines, ladders and climbing nets… there is no shortage of challenges here!
The Vidourle Via Ferrata features a unique route winding between cliffs and the river. Overlooking the Vidourle River almost the entire way, it is accessible to a wide range of visitors. At La Roque de Saint-Sériès, the Vidourle has carved a spectacular 70-metre-deep gorge between two rock faces. It is precisely here that the Via Ferrata begins. From the parking area, it takes only two minutes on foot to reach the starting point.
Two routes are available: an introductory course, perfect for discovering the Via Ferrata, and a more challenging route through the overhanging section of the Baume for more experienced adventurers.
Of course, nothing prevents you from combining both routes. The instructors will be happy to guide you, allowing you to make the most of this adventure by the water. Whether you are with family or friends, you can cool off in the refreshing waters of the river. The banks of the Vidourle are perfect for a picnic, relaxing, or enjoying a swim.
